Open mic last night was a little slow. Having said that we had some real gems. Haley showed up and did two sets. Her boss was in the audience and as usual Haley was a big hit. She has a strong voice that is quite original.
John, a newcomer did a set, very strong guitar and vocals. Ernie bunch was in rare form, funny and warm.
At home Kathy and both have been fighting some sort of Black Death/ Hay Fever. We go from coughing to a fever to nausea. Just when we think were better it comes back stronger than before.
On a happier note we turned on our PV Solar System yesterday and are producing just under 50 KW/ solar day. Goodbye APS bills!
We are planning a trip to Catalina and my wife asked "Who was that guy you watched every Saturaday about BBQ'in, I think he has a resturant there". Sure enough I looked it up on the ol internet and found

I thought wow I could meet you there since we are going there next week. I did see you once giving a demonstration at the the BBQ Co. I think. Sadly I realized this was not you but I did find your Blog so I thought I would put in a note. Thanks for all the cool recipes and entertaining cooking shows. I like the fact you liked Stevie Ray and you were so knowlegable about chiles. You were someone I felt I could hang out with. Anyway hope all is well.
